Meet the Principal:
Mrs McGee can be crazy at times, loves fun, has a bunny (Bunny Foo-Foo) and two dogs, Moose and Biscuit at home, a dwarf hampster named Benjamin, a guinea Pig named Amelia and last but not least Phil the fish! She is also "fostering" an African Gray Parrot for the summer named Judd. She has a daughter and a son in college. She lives in Tiverton, RI near many beautiful beaches and loves to walk the beach every day no matter the weather. She enjoys gardening, Yoga and reading!
She attended Rhode Island College from 1983-1987 graduating with a degree in Special Education. She continued her education at Providence College extending her Special Education degree to a Masters Degree in 1991. After teaching both special education and grade five until 2003, she decided to enter the realm of administration. Spending the last fifteen years in administration, she has found a good balance between helping children grow academically as well as grow as a whole child through much of the individualized conversation that is had in the teaching part of her role. Mrs. McGee began in Barrington at Hampden Meadows School in 2012.
