Databases provide collections of resources. Many of the databases listed below are paid for by the State of Rhode Island and the Institute of Museum and Library Services. These databases provide students with access to reliable articles, videos, and more that cannot be found with a Google search.

World Book features content and tools developed especially for students. The site offers simple navigation, easy-to-read articles, multimedia, comparison tools, interactive games and activities, and teacher resources. DK Findout! allows students to learn about a variety of topics from math to history. Many of the articles include interactive diagrams. Exploring Nature has information with helpful diagrams on topics in science, along with printable worksheets. There is no text-to-speech option. Time for Kids has many nonfiction articles sorted by grade. Some have text-to-speech support. This website is not searchable. |
