Hampden Meadows Maker SpaceStudents and teachers are engaged in Design Thinking at Hampden Meadows. The new makerspace, made possible by the Parent Teacher Organization, District, and Barrington Education Foundation has been an exciting addition to the school. In this lively space, students create, critically think, collaborate. problem solve, and engage in real-world learning. The objectives of the space have been supported by the Highlander Institute's Fuse Program's peer coaching model

Hampden Meadows School conducts quarterly Family Book Club meetings. It is a a great opportunity for adults and children to participate in authentic discussions about literature and can open a wonderful dialogues that continue far beyond the school day. A book is selected and the child and adult share the reading experience at home. At our meetings, Both the adult and child participate equally. There are related activities and a robust discussion.

The Public Forum on Safety in Our Community held on March 28th at Barrington High School was well-received by community members in attendance. Panel members included Superintendent Michael B. Messore, Town Manager James Cunha, Barrington Police Chief John LaCross, Sergeant Kevin Igoe, School Resource Officer Josh Melo, School Psychologist Lee Markowski, Barrington Middle School Principal Dr. Andrew Anderson, Sowams School Principal James Callahan, and Barrington High School Principal Joseph Hurley. Members of the School Committee, Town Council, Committee on Appropriations, Barrington Police Department, and School and District Administrators were also present.
